Tribalight is inspiring and encouraging the tribal community of Chandrapur, Maharashtra to grow and develop. We believe that they must make a sustainable living for self-reliance and increased confidence. Therefore, we are passionate about enlightening and enriching the tribal community with their skills and craftsmanship. With a mission to bridge the gap between the tribal and modern civilization, Tribalight is supporting tribal women, men and farmers to “Earn a pay better than fair” with the help of their natural produce from the land and livestock.

The tribal community, however, has not earned stability and safety though they belong to a country of culture and tradition. They are still far away from basic needs.
Tribal communities generally live in isolated terrains and their main source of livelihood is agriculture and gathering of forest produce. These people are very close to nature. Having grown up in nature, they know exactly the minutest nuances of nature and forests. By using this experience and knowledge these tribal women have produced some unique products. They display a wide spectrum of “another India” you hardly know about.
